Marco Illuminati is a Photographer who deals with social, anthropological and historical memory essays from the humanistic, intimate and aesthetic point of view. He has worked in Bulgaria, carrying out researches on villages, small religious communities and the meaning of death.
Recently he has lived in Brazil mainly in Salvador, working on the female figure, local history and invisible artists.
After graduating in Science Studies, his artistic training starts from classic design, comix, painting to photography for journalism, portrait, personal research and digital post production.
